Alserco’s cooling water recovery systems are made of two circuits: a primary circuit that recirculates the water between the tanks and the cooling tower, and a secondary circuit for sending the cooled water to the retorts or to pasteurisation tunnels.

We also develop and implement projects that use seawater as cooling system in retorts and pasteurisers by mean of a heat exchanger. We manage to reduce the temperature of the process water without any contact between the process water and seawater, and consequently, without any risk of contamination.
